Gettin' Down With Juan MacLean

This weekend at U Street Music Hall, I was lucky enough to finally catch a huge musical inspiration of mine when the man behind DFA's The Juan MacLean came to spin a set in DC. All night Juan kept the crowd up blending a funk & bounce vibe with a deep feel everybody could groove to.

In this mix from last week he reminds us that he's still got a great ear for music, and he's still working on some new tunes of his own with a couple unreleased original tracks finding there way into this set.

But let's keep the classics alive: Here's my personal favorite from The Juan MacLean, Happy House
