After confirming eleven new tracks for 2014, French DJ/producer Madeon has been a bit behind schedule on his countless productions. But, with some amazing material in the works, we got an exclusive first listen at his brand new single for FIFA 2014, "Imperium."
Madeon steps towards a mid-tempo direction on this one while still maintaining the energy of his usually house releases. He feeds us a whomping bass line that drives this track with a dirty analog tone. Along with some edgy drums, we're getting the more bass-face side to his production.
What makes this track so unique is the French sounding electro synths and strings that Madeon loves so much. These Justicesque elements are able to intensify the energy of the track while still showcasing the melodic knowledge of Madeon.
Overall the production is fat and juicy giving us something heavy enough to fit in a DJ set while being progressive enough to listen to in your friend's car. We're stoked to hear what else he'll be releasing this year.
