Ferry Corsten Zooms Into Uncharted Territory With Sci-Fi Concept Album

May 31, 2017 -

Trance legend and dance icon Ferry Corsten continues to take the trance scene forward with his new concept album, ‘Blueprint’. Out now, the 17-track LP combines Ferry’s unmistakably euphoric sound with his passion for storytelling, film score, and science fiction and stands out as one of the Rotterdam native’s most original works to date.

Stemming out of a collaboration with David H Miller (House of Cards & Rosewood) and narrated by Hollywood actor Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man), the album’s storyline centers around an interstellar meeting that ultimately provokes questions about exploration, religion, and ideals. As expected from Ferry Corsten, ‘Blueprint’ is sonically superb, with a diverse range of tracks that draw inspiration from Trance, Cinematic Music, Future Bass, and Progressive House. ‘Blueprint’ is a unique and forward-thinking release that really needs to be experienced to be understood.
