Like I mentioned in my last article, I’m a sucker for 90’s house.  Which of course includes Everything But the Girl’s hit, Missing.  On a side note, I can’t believe the song’s 20 years old now.  Mind = blown. So on New Year’s at Soundgarden when Jerome Isma-Ae was on decks and this song started to play, I thought “but of course, he’s playing Under My Skin.”

And then the unexpected happened.  The line “Stepped off the train…” came in.  I put down my camera and had to absorb what was happening.  It fit so seamlessly, as if the 20 year-old vocals had always been there.  I was singing along and then BAM the hard-hitting part of Under My Skin came back in.  It was 5:30 in the morning at this point and I had been working all day, yet this mash-up somehow gave me the energy to run around screaming to everyone near me “can you believe this is happening!?”

This mash up doesn’t have the exposure it deserves.  Especially since it’s a beautiful combination of two of my favorite things, like macaroni & cheese or pizza bagels. Check it out for yourself!
