On September 13th we'll be headed out to the Bay Area for this year's Summersalt. Hosted on a Pier, what better way to end the Summer than with some nice bass music by these hot underground artists. The lineup features Mad Decent's Grandtheft who's collaborated on tracks with the likes of Diplo, Jackal, Thugli, and Torro Torro.
Coming from Los Angeles we have Low End Theory resident DJ Gaslamp Killer going to melt some faces during his headliner spot on the second stage. Out of every DJ on this planet I've probably seen Gaslamp the most (guessing around 18 times). Last week I caught him at the Airliner where he opened for 12th Planet. His sets are always filled with avant garde music that bangs with heavy bass. He jumps BPMs like a madman and scratches his vinyl with ferocity. Living in LA I have the luxury of being able to catch him every Wednesday in Lincoln Heights, but I know the kids up north will be warmly welcoming the Killer as he gets behind the decks for the final 2 hours of Summersalt.
Our team will also be catching sets from Keys N Krates, Ana Sia, Salva, Big Gigantic, and many more. We're excited to head out there keep a lookout for our event review, photos, and exclusive interviews!
