After a long winter and spring, summer is finally here! You know what that means, FESTIVAL SEASON! For all of our Northeast fans who were unable to travel with us to Ultra or Coachella, we hope to see all of you at Electric Daisy Carnival New York in just under 2 weeks. And in just case you’re afraid of missing us amongst the thousands of people at Citi Field, arrive in style as we team up with Bad Kids Clothing for the ultimate EDC Pregame.
Andi and Lex are two of the baddest kids you’ll ever meet. Best friends since grad school, the two believe in unifying power of EDM. Not only is Bad Kids just a line of concert ready attire, but a brand accepting of people from all walks of life. Recently, they started “The PLUR Project”, a program centered around using the dance community to help others. Their first goal raised money to bring Twitter personality, Drunkmau5 to EDC NY. A small town girl who had never been to a festival, Drunkmau5 is known for her passion for EDM, as well as her willingness to connect to all of her followers on a deeply personal level. It’s only natural that she joins Bad Kids, the duo responsible for starting a 150-person dance circle at Ultra Weekend 2 (we were there, we SWEAR it happened. And it was awesome).
Daily Beat, Beacon Records and Bad Kids clothing will bee hosting an EDC Pregame at Libation, home to their wildly infamous Bad Kids Brunches (which, we like to note, there have only been two of so far, but are so intense they’ve already become infamous). Festivities begin at 11am on Saturday, May 18 on the Lower East Side as we gear up for day two of the first festival of the summer. Everyone is welcome! Sweekuh will be behind the decks as you enjoy $3 drafts, $4 well drinks and $3 shot specials.
At 1PM, three 50-person party buses will transport us (if you buy the package) directly to Citi Field for the festival (note: the busses will NOT return. You are responsible for your own transport home). Each bus is its own party complete with LED lights and lazers, a STRIPPER POLE, and did we mention vodka? A Bad Kids rep will be aboard each bus to facilitate special giveaways from our friends at Eye Love Shadez and Nectar Sunglasses. And as you arrive in style, A state of the art sound system will blast a special EDC soundtrack courtesy of Sweekuh. Tickets are available on the BKC website for $36 (Must be going to EDC to come on bus). Act fast, there are only a limited amount of spaces available.
As if the announcement of our official partnership with Bad Kids for this amazing pregame wasn’t enough, we’re happy to tell you that this partnership will continue well past EDC. That’s right, starting next month, Daily Beat will be teaming up with Bad Kids Clothing during for their infamous brunches and much much more! See everyone next weekend!
