What a year it has been for the British deep house duo, Dusky. Alfie Granger - Howell and Nick Harriman are back at it after an action packed last twelve months, with releases on this summers' Anjunadeep Album as well the highly successful Nobody Else and Vanishing Point EP's. This four track EP is set to be released in the middle of their highly anticipated North American tour on Will Saul's record label AUSMusic. The tracks's headline song Careless is a beautifully crafted track consisting of minimalistic sounds soothed over with mesmerising vocals and deep kicks. Rise for Love contains a more aggressive approach from the Londoners, but yet again Dusky's ability to uniquely craft vocals into any of their tracks makes for this to be one of my favourites of the EP. Esperanto Juggler and Words Later On, the last two tracks of the EP showcase Dusky's underground roots and the way they are seemingly able to make a track featuring minimalistic, garage, tech and deep vibes. Overall a top quality EP, cementing their place as one of the spearheads of the house/garage revival, with tech sounds and expertly crafted bassy drops throughout. Make sure you check this one out, full release on 23rd September.
