Featuring a uniquely balanced feel when listening to Float Point EP as a whole, Doorstep Rebellion has compiled a finely balanced set of tracks here that certainly hits the spot - especially from the those who embrace instrumental house sounds. Released on Emercive Recordings, an underrated label boasting these same type of vibes, Doorstep Rebellion brings a somber attitude that's channeled through a near-all instrumental frame work. From tip to tail, these 5 originals and the extended version at the end paints a full-scope picture that's easy to enjoy again and again.
Abraham Holsinger aka Doorstep Rebellion currently resides in Pittsburgh, his production strongpoints range from indie to synth-pop and he certainly can use these skills to his full advantage, as heard in this EP.
Initially launching this project in 2012, the solo DJ/producer has put that grind in to develop his style to the point it's at today. Self releasing from 2012 to 2018 and then moving on to label releases thereafter, Doorstep Rebellion's humble beginnings is something unique inspiring and generally attractive from an artistic perspective.
