DejaVilla Drops Clever Multi-Faceted Single 'Castle With A View'

October 9, 2021 -

Justin Angle

It's no wonder that Ultra Music continues to sign and support the hot male-female duo known as "Castle With A View." From the technicality to the overall mood, these two have cooked up some smooth catchiness bursting with originality. The percussion boasts a blend of breaks and trap influence while the vocal side styles hip-hop, r&b, and pop influences. Altogether the combination is refreshing, showcasing several influences to the point that it becomes hard not to label this song 'it's own thing.'

David Marston and Sarah Couch are the name behind the sound, having a well cultured background - both being raised in Jamaica - their rare upbringing has undoubtedly played as a positive when it comes to the sound they are rolling with in 2021.

The single is the title track off of their upcoming LP. If you like what the single brings to the table, keep an eye out regarding what the album will bring.
