Daft Punk | The Collaborators Episode 1: Giorgio Moroder

April 3, 2013 -

Brett Blackman

It is clear that we're inching towards something remarkable and, do I dare say, revolutionary? The past month and a half has been filled with Daft Punk rumors - a fake album leak (which was wrong on all levels), a fake tour poster, but NOT a fake announcement for their appearance at Coachella (very jealous of our Daily Beat writer Brett, who will be attending the first weekend of Coachella). But I digress; here we're given a little more insight about the album, more so on the thoughts of one of the collaborators of Random Access Memories: Giorgio Moroder. The video speaks for itself, as Moroder touches on his early encounters with electronic music, Donna Summers, and the first time he had heard a Daft Punk record. Enjoy!
