For the last two years, we have been beyond lucky to see a new festival flourish and grow beyond what we ever expected. FNGRS CRSSD has hosted some of the best eclectic musical artists at an amazing venue in San Diego at their namesake festival CRSSD. With the lineup always getting better and better since the inaugural event, we were nothing short of impressed when we saw the first and second phase of the Spring festival lineup.
Continuing its goal of bringing the more avant-garde shades of electronic to its avid fan base, CRSSD has compiled a who’s who collection of greats and rising stars alike from across the global scene. Phase two sees the addition of Dirtybird kingpin Claude VonStroke, globetrotting multi-genre superstar Mija, complex bass music stalwart Point Point, one of underground house’s most prolific new acts and champion of the new party-tech sound Latmun, French London’s club titan Heidi, and diverse techno legend Cassy.
CRSSD’s phase two joins an already star-studded lineup featuring standout live acts like Blood Orange, AlunaGeorge, Recondite, Bob Moses plus Dusky’s West Coast Debut. CRSSD will also host the very best underground house and techno DJs including 2manyDJs, Jackmaster, Âme, Skream, Seth Troxler B2B Eats Everything, Damian Lazarus, Midland, and more, including special extended sets.
Located in the idyllic urban core of San Diego’s downtown district, CRSSD blends Southern California culture with dance music’s underground roots producing an exceptionally unique vibe. Just minutes away from the Amtrak station, CRSSD’s grassy sanctuary is complete with technicolor sunsets, splash friendly fountains, and three stages. In addition to its ground-breaking musical programming, CRSSD also offers craft beer, gourmet food vendors from San Diego’s best restaurants, and a full mixology program.
