Who doesn't love a steamy gathering in a Brooklyn warehouse? On May 1st, fall into New York's hottest nighttime haunt: Chromed, the underground-loving brainchild of Housing Corp. Dance to more than a dozen DJs playing on two stages, spread over two floors. Surround yourself with 3D projection-mapped sculptures. Then crash into Something Different's otherworldly Chromed cave installation, a space draped in silver bliss that will whisk your mind to Wonderland.
March's edition of Chromed featured all of the above and then some, including a live painter whose brushes danced with blacklight paint until the early morning. Check out the photos here, shot by Sara Wass. Chromed 3 will certainly bring even more!
Housing Corp's latest mix, a tour of modern UK garage, is streaming below. It includes a few unreleased tracks that might get you moving on the dancefloor this Saturday, including "Straighten Up Yo’ Shit (with NSR)" and a funkified remix of Scooter Island's "We Could Smoke."
Check out the full line-up below. The show begins at 10PM (with an open bar until 11), and afters begin at 4AM.
