Barcelona based star Maceo Plex and Stockholm native Jon Dasilva combine to produce this retro deep disco - laced house anthem which, although over a year old, still delivers in every aspect. Originally inspired by Dasilva's original 90s remix of Colourblind's ' You Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else, ' Plex has added a more groovy and bass driven feel to it, perfect for an uplifting Sunday morning anthem. Featuring the mesmerising vocals of Jones Girls, Maceo Plex's influence on this track is certainly felt - with heavy elastic basslines and deep melodic pads thumping throughout this is certainly another of the Spaniards masterpiece's. Manila Killa has undoubtedly created his own, unique sound as a DJ. Known best for his downtempo music and nu-disco vibe, today the DJ hailing from the Philippines (now DC) drops another beauty. Appropriately entitled "Rêve" (dream), the dreamlike song is filled with soothing sounds to put you in the right state of mind. If it is raining, early in the morning or you're just having a rough time getting out of your bed, let your ears enjoy. Who knows, maybe the upbeat, chilled out tune labeled under the genre, dream-step will take you on a little journey. If only I could posses talent as great as deep house producers. A new name on the market MORRT otherwise known as Josh Mortimer, only 19 and bursting with talent. His brand new release Let You Go  has climbed the charts hitting thousands of plays in the three short days it has been released. This artist knows how to be innovative, transporting ambient and soulful beats to another level of deep house. Each track gives a little taste of paradise for any sensual music addict. My personal favourite song 'Run' tones things down to a low gear playing with delicate vocals then pushes that deep beat. Another recent release Want Me will feed your craving for that Justin Martin/Dusky sound. He has been on the move with new releases week after week. Keep your eye out, because this music will not go unoticed.

As I've posted in the past, fwdslxsh is the next big thing when it comes to defining a seductive, signature sound in dance music. Today we are lucky enough to witness the amazing collaborative track by the young and gifted producers in fwdslxsh and Tajan, who both embody such an original sound in the music they produce. Their latest tune, entitled 'Beautiful' samples the incredible vocals of Justin Timberlake from 'My Love' and effortlessly put our minds at ease with such ear-candy. While it's a rainy day here on the East Coast and the moods of many are in that lazy mode, I'm still able to get my ears around Karma Kid's take on Laura Mvula's stunning track Green Garden. With the ever so calm features to open the track, you already feel one with the song before the beat hits you. And even at only 18 years of age, Karma Kid seems destined to have another breakout season in 2013. With the swift transitions, Laura's airy and beautiful vocals, and mesmerizing synth work, Karma Kid sure impresses with this one. Enjoy!
