Cashmere Cat - With Me (Stwo Edit)

January 3, 2014 -

Hill Coulson

Another day at Daily Beat, another Stwo post. I'll stop posting about him when he stops dropping consistently top quality songs. This time around we have an edit of Cashmere Cat (no surprise there), another new school producer making waves in the scene and a fellow proponent of what I like to call the 'blogwave' sound.

Stwo lifts a distorted synth riff from the original tune and makes it the main focus of the edit, subtly transforming the song from sparse and experimental to a more club-ready piece with all the beautiful flourishes of the first version. That snare line though. I haven't heard a flip this nice since Flume reworked Rustie's "Slasherr". So which one do you prefer, the original "With Me" or Stwo's edit? Let us know!
