There's a certain charm and wit that comes with experiencing NW Florida based artist Pagu. As a Gen-Zer, it's easy to gather a sense that he has a knack for style from a fresh young perspective. The traits of this viewpoint ripples out into his indie-meets-new wave originals, one of the most notable being the July 2021 single, "Call Back."

Warm colors and personable visuals create a part of the draw from the branding side of "Call Back." After clicking play, it becomes apparent that the visual and audio side are a match, catchy synths and upbeat percussion forming a template for the vocals soon to come.

Singing on the track himself, "Call Back," highlights a romanticized storyline that is touching. Without giving too much away, it pulls on the heart strings a bit while the uplifting production balances out this energy with positivity.

Pagu has several shows coming up, one of which is opening up for Arizona in the Destin and others being at local venues in the surrounding area. There's a certain special appeal that comes with the Pagu look, something that can be expanded and diversified if crafted and directed properly. "Call Back," seems to be the start of something bigger for Jonah Tatum aka Pagu.
