Bonobo : Pieces [Feat. Cornelia]

July 15, 2013 -

Isabelle Cohen

Bonobo skillfully released his fifth studio album The North Borders. The electronic artist Bonobo also known as Simon Green further extends and reconfigures his lo-fi beats from his preceding album Black Sands. There are a pleasurable mix of organic and acoustic beats in the midst of his down-beat electronic sound. His down-beat electronic sound The album concludes with the track Pieces, featuring tenderly sweet vocals of Cornelia infusing pure feeling within the roots of the song.  The multilayered and growingly complex vocals contrast with the delicate simplicity of the flawless chiming. Overall Simon's new album once again has progressed to become a work of art.
