November 12, 2015 -

This Saturday November 14th  MATTE Projects presents BLACK a themed one-night, multidimensional collaborative music, design, and art affair in a large Brooklyn warehouse space.

There will be two floors that'll have performances from artists with their own very unique styles, including:  Gesaffelstein, Jon Hopkins doing a live set, GENER8ION and Kanye West's creative director Virgil Abloh (FLAT WHITE). Both floors are 15,000 square feet, the fist a raw space with a custom stage and lighting set up for musical acts and the second a white walled basement broken up in in six different rooms for six different visual artists.
Beyond music the second floor will be broken up into six rooms, sensory and interactive vignettes created by six visual artists - Cara StrickerJesper JustNate BrownToki SeriesVirgil Abloh and Zach Walker.
“When you walk to the edge of all the light you have and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for you to stand upon or you will be taught to fly.”
