Bixel Boys Remix Eliza Doolittle and Kayper

February 4, 2014 -

Daily Beat Staff

Bixel Boys, the Los Angeles-based duo that combine big-room and tech-house to create deliciously dark yet anthemic house music, surprised us with two brand new tracks this past week. The first, a remix of Eliza Doolittle's "Walking On Water" combines the singalong-ready original with booming synths and pumping drum arrangements to form a club-ready banger with class to boot.

The second is their remix of British selector/producer Kayper's "Out My Mind." Reminiscent of early Gesaffelstein and Brodinski material, this track has a distinctly French feel to it, from the tingling buildup synths to the dark chorus and chopped up vocal sample. These guys have been on a roll lately, and we're excited to see what 2014 has in store for them!
