Ever since the mix tape House of Balloons in 2011, Abel has absolutely exploded under his musical alias The Weeknd. That year he went on to release two more mix tapes, including Echoes of Silence: a compilation of diverse tracks that would get even the most uptight individual vibe-ing. Abel's cover of MJ's Dirty Diana (titled D.D) was by far my favourite of any EP or mix tape he released. The already sexual song, Drunk in Love by [my Queen] Beyonce and Jay-Z, was made that much more sensual with the recently dropped cover. Definitely one to add to your "bedroom playlist."
