Holy Trap! After just a mere week of the Harlem Shake YouTube video takeover, which still continues, Baauer threw down at Webster Hall on Friday. Just Blaze warmed up the crowd with his hard hip hop beats before Baauer took over the stage and started setting off traps all over the place. Every remix including Savage “Hips Swing” and Huey “Pop, Lock, and Drop it” was turned into a trap tune that night. After only about an hour into his set, he dropped the infamous “Harlem Shake,” the song in which those who have never even heard of Baauer know of. We only imagined in our heads what this moment would be like, but it was even better! The crowd could not stop shaking and jumping around; Even a guy with a cone on his head went crowd surfing to this one. The track was dropped once more by Baauer and two more times when Just Blaze got back up on stage, which had the crowd a bit confused but, never the less, still dancing into the wee hours of the night.
