Ladies and Gentleman, Michael Woods does it again. This well-known UK producer has been all over the dance charts, starting off on top with his self-titled debut single "Warrior" way back in 2000. How fitting that he chose to remix a throwback that topped the charts in 1999. Feeling a little nostalgic, Michael? I can only assume Armand Van Helden has played some sort of inspirational role in Woods' music. For those who don't know Armand Van Helden, first of all, shame on you. More importantly, he's topped UK dance charts since the early 1990's, starting with Witch Doktor in '94, but more notably, his remix of "Professional Widow" which was an anthem throughout European clubs in the late nineties. Side note, I'm just guessing, but I doubt Daft Punk, Britney Spears, and Katy Perry just call random DJs to remix their songs. He's still at it as one half of the delicious duo Duck Sauce, with well-known counterpart A-Trak, determined to stay at the top! Back to the future here, Michael Woods preserves the nineties club feel of the original, while transforming Van Helden's track into a modern day happy house hit. So maximize your speakers, beware of the buildup, and enjoy the delorean ride back to the future.
