Arcade Fire - Afterlife (Flume Remix)

August 12, 2014 -

Christopher Lavinio

The Australian beat wizard has done it once again, putting together this brilliant remix of “Afterlife,” the single from Arcade Fire’s Reflektor. Flume’s beautifully crafted 10-minute take on the song begins with him spending a few moments swirling, before eventually developing into a fleet, nimble house beat. For all the disco undertones on that last Arcade Fire album, Flume perfectly allows for his house tones to shrine right through the remix. Luckily, the Aussie's remixed tune will be released as a limited edition 12", so stay tuned for further information. Enjoy!
