Apollyon Records, based in Los Angeles, has just launched its own radio/mix series and talk about making a good first impression. Apollyon Radio has been debuted with DRBBLZ X TOVR blessing our ears with the first mix in the label's young life. Featuring some ridiculous ID's from other certain Los Angeles based labels, the hour-long mix is also up for grabs as a free download to make the debut and 4/20 that much more enjoyable. DRBBLZ X TOVR is a veteran DJ and it shows quite clearly throughout the entirety of the mix. Just in time for the start of festival season, the mix is grimey and downright superb. Apollyon Records came onto the scene late last year and since then have been gaining steady momentum and a dedicated following. Combined with muliplte sub-labels for different styles, the launching of Apollyon Radio, growing numbers and a release due out on Thursday by label-head and ICON student Sacred Sciences ft. LVNKY, Apollyon Records is doing all the right things and it will be interesting to witness this label grow even further this year.
