Coming up this summer is the fourth annual Northern Nights Music festival with the phase one release of their line up including established international performers along with unique and talented up and comers. Last July thousands of attendees had the festival experience of a lifetime along the banks of the Eel River having sold out the festival for the second year in a row. Northern Nights Music Festival returns in 2016 to the historic Cook's Valley Campground July 15-17 behind California's picturesque Redwood Curtain.
Not only is the venue breathtaking, the festival will be featuring music from some of the world’s top current acts such as Griz, who is now on a sold out tour, and Troyboi who has rapidly amassed respect for his signature production style. Other notable artists on the line up include Daktyl, Prince Fox, Machinedrum, and Pumpkin. Out of the entire phase one lineup, I am most excited for the world renowned Teklife crew. Along with the recent posthumous release of DJ Rashad’s Afterlife, the rest of the Teklife crew continues their rise to the top as they spread juke and footwork to their fans around the world. I am not only excited for their mind boggling beats but also to witness The Era Footwork accompany Teklife onstage performing their hometown footwork dances.
Following the turnout last year, Northern Nights is expecting to sell out again in 2016 so you better get your tickets quick! 3 day tickets are on sale now with a limited number available at $239 for general admission and $349 for VIP. Riverfront camping is free with any ticket purchase however RV, car camping and Redwood Grove camping will have to be purchased in advance at an extra cost.
