Michael Woods is an English producer who has been insanely busy as of late. Rocking London's Ministry of Sound a couple of weeks ago, as well as releasing some fantastic collaborations, including the renowned 'Black Thong' alongside Chris Lake. More recently, last week Woods played a guest mix for the global dance music ambassador Pete Tong, on BBC Radio 1 ,and this is where we first glimpsed a preview of his new release 'Platinum Chains'. This is one hell of a track with euphoric build ups, leading into a fast gated drop, with intensely melodic chording. Upon the second drop, the low end is satisfied with dry rasping bass oscillating amongst hedonistic harmonies.This track is an absolutely fantastic piece of production, and I'm feeling a lot of love for Woods at the moment, especially after he replied to tweet of mine last week during his 'Ask Woods' session with Ministry of Sound.
