If you live in LA, chances are you’ve found yourself blurry eyed late night on a Tuesday at LondonBridge’s weekly party Space Yacht. Space Yacht was originally formed by LondonBridge, Henry Lu and Ollie Zhang as a place to hang with friends who share the love of underground dance music.
When we started Space Yacht, I just wanted a place where I could play my music. I remembered going to Aoki’s parties back in the day and saw how Destructo built his brand through HARD, so I took a lot of inspiration from those guys.
Almost three years later
, Space Yacht is a force within LA’s underground music scene, and has been a platform for LondonBridge as an artist, who has since landed gigs at major festivals including Coachella
One of the byproducts of producing a weekly event is that I get to see the best new talent out there. I started the Sound Of The Underground Mix Series as a way to showcase my favorite new artists that i’ve met along the way.
In its third installment, LondonBridge has tapped the rising House Music stars, Strange Club
. The duo burst onto the scene this year with their song Operator, and have since gone on to play Coachella, Splash House
and most recently Will Clarke’s 4th of July bash at Sky Bar in LA. The duo also have a killer collab with SNBRN
due out later this year. Needless to say these guys are on the up and up. LondonBridge also throws down a killer mix of his own making the Sound Of The Underground Mix Series a real one two punch!!!
LondonBridge will be playing tonight at Space Yacht
and he may just have a couple special guests along for the ride 😉
