Insomniac Shows They Aren't Playing Around With Their Countdown Lineup

November 29, 2016 -

Dillon

Over the course of two very short years Insomniac has made a huge impact on the New Year’s Eve party scene.  From one stage in their first year, to multiple stages and a power house lineup that crushed the first year in terms of number of artists, Insomniac has continued to push the limits of what their New Year’s Party can be.  And this year they are pushing the boundaries even further by adding a second day and jam packing it with a line up fit for an epic finale of 2016.

Insomniac is known for their main stage music this year they have names like Zedd, Alesso, Deorro, Diplo, Kill The Noise, and of course The Chainsmokers.  But it’s some of the other names on this line up that have us so excited to end our year off again with Countdown.

Rezz

I first saw Rezz at Crssd Fest this past October and the intensity of her set was mind blowing.  Not only is her entire vibe insanely cool (it feels like she is a DJ comic book character that has come to life), but the darkness of her music definitely entices inner demon come out to dance.

The Dirtybird Players

It’s no secret that Dirtybird knows how to throw a party, as the growth of their campout in just one year can attest to.  Insomniac is no stranger to Dirtybird and this year they have two of the best acts on the label.  Not only does the soul crushing Detroit house master Kill Frenzy make an appearance, but so does new comer Billy Kenny.  Kenny’s late night set at the campout was one of the most talked about performances of the weekend and both of their sets at Countdown are guaranteed to be on another level

Troyboi

No longer is Troyboi a secret, as this London based trap artist has been lighting up US festivals, clubs, and playlists for the great part of the past year.  With bangers such as OG, and Welcome to London when Troyboi takes the decks at Countdown it’s sure to be absolutely destructive.

RL Grime

This legendary producer needs no introduction and any line up that RL Grime is one definitely draws attention, and his inclusion is one of the many reasons we are stoked to be spending New Years with Insomniac again.
