Prydz trades in his trademark melodies for a darker sound as his techno moniker, Cirez D. Showcasing true talent I can't stress enough how well made these tracks are, the deep kicks and intricate samples that make the tracks a truly complex and interesting outing for the swede. With a bunch of other ID's Prydz has still out for release, both as Pryda and Cirez D, he definitely isn't slowing down anytime soon. Check it out!

Theres been a fair amount of talk lately about the misuse of the term 'Deep House'; we can certainly vouch that much of the deep house we post is not necessarily Deep House in the purest sense of the term. George Fitzgerald is a name that's frequently mentioned when talking of stomping underground house thats driving energy isn't really very deep at all yet regardless of this we still feel it appropriate to include his tracks in these compilations. This one features repetitive melody that reminds me of a Prydz/Cirez D style track that drives through whilst stripping back and layering on different sounds. Have a listen now.

After a spree on the Cirez D side of productions and somewhat of a hiatus from his uplifting melodic music, Eric Prydz is back at it, producing amazing progressive house under his 'Pryda'. Time and time again Prydz never ceases to amaze me with his productions, constantly masterful and unique. Lycka (translated into happiness in swedish) is a carefully layered track, showcasing the best of the Pryda sound. I tried to think of a way to describe this track but there are really no words, so please have a listen. This is truly a masterpiece.
