Every now and then a band comes along that is so good that you just HAVE to post anything they release, even if it is a few days late. For me, that band is Years and Years, an electro-pop trio hailing from London. Years and Years, who just wrapped up a tour with Sam Smith, have been making music that gets your hips moving, blood pumping, and hits you right in the feels (in the best way possible). This is a remix of their latest single, "Desire", by Canadian duo, Rainer + Grimm. They keep the longing melodies of Years and Years' frontman, Olly Alexander, intact and layer on some tropical instrumentals leaving you with a refreshing take on the original version that maintains the groovy bump that embodies the Years and Years sound. Make sure to keep an eye on Years and Years as they are sure to make waves in 2015 (hell, they already are seeing as they were included in the BBC Music Sound of 2015 longlist). And if you are looking for more news about Toronto artists like Rainer + Grimm, make sure to check out DB's new, stand-alone Toronto Rave Community website for Toronto-specific news.
