Wuki - Front2back / Get Down

In 2015 we’ve seen some new names begin to rise to fame and one that has been getting a lot of attention recently is Wuki. His unique style combines the best aspects of both break beat and house into one. In April he did a remix of the RL Grime track Kingpin that blew up and his remix of Deep Down Low has been killing the dance floors all festival season. He is back with two new tracks on Mad Decent. The first one, entitled Get Down, I’ve heard many times this summer as an ID and have been eagerly awaiting the official release. From the second the track begins it is constantly building until arriving to an aggressive drop combining screeching synths with a grooving drumbeat that you’d expect from a Wuki track. The second track is called Front2back and is featuring DJ Funk. This track has more of a trap feel as a mixture of fat bass lines and melodic synths intermingle effortlessly over the drums. Get familiar with these two tracks because I’m sure in the coming months we’ll hear them countless times in DJ sets all over the world.
