With the collaborative efforts of  Skrillex, A-Trak and Diplo, fans are gifted with a video from the highly anticipated POTATOwillEATyou channel, a vast network that emphasizes and touches upon new music and video releases, creating a large music blog, created by the people who know the music the best, the artists.  We are excited to see this idea grow and what us fans will get out of this.

Bang! Ft Skrillex & Boys NOIZE

This video starts off by bringing two of the bigger names in obscure sounds, Skrillex and Boys Noize (aka Dog Blood) and sets the theme of old techno. Without giving too much away of the documentary, we are greeted with Kevin Saunderson, one of the creators of electronic music, as well as Sam Fotias, one of the founders of the movement festival in Detroit – it has been a staple of the music scene, etc. Kevin Saunders ruminates about the beginning of the scene, techno, and its evolution while he was in college.

While Fotias talks about the early beginning of raves, the culture, and it’s expansion from abandoned buildings, viewers get a quick history lesson about Electronic music, and basically shows how it isn't something new, and how people have been doing the same things fans have been doing today for a good amount of time. Basically, get ready to learn some new stuff.

Continuing on we are blessed with Boys Noize and his take on producing, which we personally found very refreshing, and personally inspiring.

Continuing on about his more recent project Dog Blood and ending it with Sonny's take on Dog Blood, we crave more from the duo, only teasing us with songs such as Middle Finger and New Order, and a special ID on Holy Ship.

We can come to expect BIG things from the two in the future not only with music, but in the industry itself.
