Walter Sobcek's New Music Video (Kinda) Looks Like Your Computer Screen

August 1, 2014 -

Parisian duo Walter Sobcek are keeping the summer disco vibes alive with their new single "Midnight Crush" featuring the sultry vocals of California artist Mereki.  Known primarily for their stellar remixes, this original hits all the right notes, from the retro-sounding bassline, smooth saxophone licks, and even a hearty vocoder'ed voice, making this track feel like it would have easily fit into an 80's roller rink playlist (as the music video makes pretty clear), yet definitely an appropriate driving-to-the-beach tune.  Out now on Junzi records, the EP features "Midnight Crush" as well as several fantastic remixes from possibly the next big producers out of France.

With a cheeky music video that mimics Google and YouTube searches, scrolling through Tumblr pages, and even a (slightly NSFW) reference to Jeffery Dahmer, I can see this summer lasting a little longer with some help from Walter Sobcek.
