USA vs. UK Mid-Week Package

March 20, 2013 -

Daily Beat Staff

Okay so its got to that mid-week point and I find myself craving some competition. I'm not sure whether you guys are aware but Daily Beat is viewed worldwide with most of our views coming from the USA, UK, and the Philippines. Despite this, it is clear that everyday the US beats the UK in the number of views and shares we recieve by a large amount. Today, I want this to change. I'm going to post this package on Daily Beat, and I want all you UK residents to pull together and join me in a battle against the US. I want this package shared until it can be shared no more, and I want the UK to beat the US hands down. We've shown the US how its done throughout the whole of history and today I want us to show them how its done again. So without any more chat here is your mid-week package. Let the battle begin and to all my UK friends, please don't let me down. Let the shares begin!

P.S. The Philippines are on the UK's side 😉

Candi Staton - Hallelujah Anyway (David Penn Remix)

Candi Staton’s Hallelujah Anyway was original rereleased into the deep house world with Larse‘s Dub and Vocal remixes which were released through Defected. Now, David Penn takes his own version for a spin!

Yeah Yeah Yeahs feat. A-Trak - Heads Will Roll (Kid Kamillion Edit)

Straight from A-trak‘s word of mouth to the whole entire internet, Kid Kamillion‘s Trap Edit of the famous EDM track “Heads Will Roll” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs has see an overwhelming number of views.  Relatively unheard of before this, the producer from New Orleans has been hit with more than he probably ever imagined after gaining some closure from the high profile DJ/Producer.  By now, it’s safe to say that the Trap movement is most definitely on!

Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway - Error 404

Teen superstar Martin Garrix teams up with Jay Hardway to release one of the hardest hitting records of the year thus far. Error 404 is filled with big melodies and a drop that will want you wanting more and more. The record was released today on Sander van Doorn’s Spinnin’ Record Label and now is available on Beatport for purchase.

Zedd feat. Foxes - Clarity (FTampa Remix)

Brazilian producer FTampa has submitted this effort for a remix contest, and suffice to say it has impressed me down to the bone. It’s got a progressive edge that nobody else has (apart from W&W), with a stadium feel, before dropping off into an absolutely mammoth hard hitting electro house drop.

Tom Swoon feat. Amba Shepherd - Not Too Late

The upcoming & talented producer Tom Swoon from Poland who has been remixing some big artists like Steve Aoki, The Bloody Beetroots, Dido and Flo Ridarecently is here with a brand new track called “Not Too Late”. This time collaborating with the vocalist Amba Shepherd who is best known for lending her voice for the hit “Apollo” by Hardwell and also for the track “Let The Love” byStarkillers and Dmitry Ko.
