Trouble & Bass Brings Us Their Final Hurrah

All good things come to an end. It's been a busy eight years for Trouble & Bass, a record label esteemed for a hefty DJ roster, a fail-proof string of releases, and most importantly, an endless string of wall-shaking, club-hopping parties. The label's last days are here, and on April 18, they're taking their final party all the way back to their Brooklyn roots. Expect the bass to resonate throughout Williamsburg's adjacent neighborhoods before it echoes in your mind for sweet memories' sake.

Founding members AC Slater, Star Eyes, and Drop the Lime will join Plastician, DJ EZ, Doctor Jeep, Tony Quattro, Petey Clicks, and Jubilee at Verboten for the final T&B hurrah.

Eight years passes by quite quickly on the other side of the decks. Says Luca Venezia (Drop the Lime and Curses) in a press release, “It’s been such a fantastic run with friends I will forever consider family. We may have all taken new paths as individuals, but the endless love I will have for the fans and artists will be timeless and continue to inspire me.”

Vivian Host (Star Eyes) adds, “Ten years ago I moved to New York with the dream of finding a crowd who would appreciate the diverse bass music that I loved (UK garage, grime, Bmore club, jungle, etc) and maybe starting a party. Not only did I end up with a dope party – one that has traveled around the world with the best crowds ever – but also crew of best friends who are a constant inspiration... Nothing is supposed to last forever, and there’s much more to come from all of us. Thanks to the fans, our artists, and T&B Crew for all the wild times and amazing vibes.”

Last month, the T&B crew released All-Time Trouble & Bass, a compilation of the label's most stand-out releases. Featured artists include Little Jinder, Bart B More, and Lil Internet. You can listen to Tony Quattro's "New York Anthem", streaming below.

Expect more special guests and giveaways at T&B's Final Party. Pick up your tickets here. Check out the Facebook event page for updates.
