We are in the summer season right now and so we should be dancing around without a care in the world. There are very few songs in the world that are able to give you that proper summer feeling, causing you to smile every time you hear them, and make you think to yourself that life really ain't that bad. For me, there has been one particular song in the past few days that has really taken the word summer and given it a true meaning. This track has been out for about 3 months now but somehow got underneath the Daily Beat radar. Not any longer! New age UK Garage duo Toyboy & Robin have been creating waves across the scene over the last six months. The boys have done some really accredited remixes as of late for major artists such as Lana Del Rey, Ellie Goulding & Example. Toyboy & Robin have also received support from taste-makers such as Toddla T & Cameo across the airwaves, alongside the boost of having Bondax splashing their two-step rhythms onto to dance floors around the globe. ‘Jaded’ stays close to the old skool garage rhythm but also carries an essential UK Bass appeal. This truly is a summer vibe song and I will continue playing it for the next few weeks, making sure I keep my summer happy and bouncy! I think you should all do the same.
