“Tomorrow can be a wonderful age,” once said the great visionary Walt Disney. “Tomorrowland attractions have been designed to give the opportunity to participate in adventures that are living blueprint of our future.”

Today, our future is Tomorrowland. With the same inspiring vision of Walt Disney, brothers Michiel and Manu beers created their own adaptation of Tomorrowland- a land of peace, love, unity, and respect. If EDM fans weren’t anxious enough with festival season creeping around the corner, ID&T, the Dutch entertainment enterprise, has gotten everyone on the edge of their seats. The renowned Tomorrowland music festival, which brought 180,000 music junkies from over 75 countries to Boom, Belgium last year, is going global- that’s right Tomorrowland really CAN only be a day away!

Last year 80,000 pre-sale tickets sold in 24 hours with 100,000 tickets selling out 2 weeks later in 43 minutes! So, it only makes sense to feed the beast, and that is exactly what Michiel and Manu plan to do. The co-founders of ID&T chatted with De Tijd, a Belgian financial newspaper.

“It’s our ambition to organize a Tomorrowland on every continent. We have received requests for versions of Tomorrowland from all over the world e week. From rich Russians and Indians to promoters in Australia, the US and South America. We will do it, but on our conditions, and only in places where we feel comfortable.”

And with EDM exploding within the last couple of years, where could they be more comfortable than in the Unites States? This is just not any festival, Tomorrowland is the raver’s heaven, a place where everything imaginable is there and anything imaginable can happen. However, with story high fairy tale books decorating the stage, taking this festival on the road is not a simple task. “Creating a festival like Tomorrowland is complex, it’s a matter of building a city in three days and creating a total experience; complete with restaurants, bakeries and hamburger stands,” says Manu Beers. The two brothers tacked on an extra 10 people to their payroll exclusively for the global takeover.

With EDM becoming more and more mainstream, some music lovers are hesitant with the quickly expanding music scene. However, Tomorrowland is an expansion we don’t think one person will be crying about.
