Tomorrowland 2013 - What We Know So Far!

As I'm sure some of you readers have come to realise, I am a huge advocate of the Tomorrowland Festival. Attending the 2012 instalment, my mind was blown after experiencing the most incredible weekend of my life. Brothers, and festival ambassador's Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike described Tomorrowland as 'the greatest fucking festival in the world', but to be honest even their words cannot fully convey what being at Tomorrowland is like.

Tomorrowland first began announcing their acts for 2013 in their customary trickle, almost a month ago now. Teasing their audience by releasing only one artist every day. Some acts have been huge, while others relatively unknown. Already this year looks set to be the biggest yet with some huge names announced across all three days, with the truly legendary Tiësto and the DJ Mag #1 Armin Van Buuren set to headline the Friday and Saturday nights respectively! From my experience, Tomorrowland is a festival that has headlined quite similar acts in the past, meaning I nearly jumped out of my seat when I saw these two huge names who did not make an appearance in the 2012 line up! As expected, two of Swedish House Mafia, (Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso), are to play individual sets after the groups legendary performance last year,  however nothing has been said so far about whether Steve Angello will be playing also. Another welcome surprise came in the form of Knife Party, a natural follow on from Skrillex's appearance last year, and a signal that the festival is becoming more open to the dubstep end of Electro House!

Tickets for Tomorrowland are released globally on the 16th February at 5:00pm (CET), and anyone hoping to score one will need to be lightning fast at getting online on time, expect these tickets to sell out in seconds!
