Throwback Thursday Sample of the Week

March 28, 2013 -

Bust out the Jell-O pudding pops because this week's sample comes from the most unlikely of sources: comedy legend Bill Cosby. Back in the day Bill Cosby used to dabble as a jazz musician and was the leader of his own band for a while. He released several albums and wrote almost all of the music. On this track he can be heard on electric piano. This sample is particularly special to me because is gave birth to my favorite song by A Tribe Called Quest. Enjoy.
