throne – A Melodic Trap Bass Monthly

February 18, 2022 -

Damask Schantz

throne is a new NYC bass monthly at the Blind Barber in Manhattan.  Yes, the small "t" is a nod to the very hush-hush incognito vibe for this party.  It’s in a speakeasy after all! Keep it on the low! But do tell your closest friends. This FREE party is starting at 6pm on Tuesday 2/22/22. It’s the perfect happy-hour location to unwind and enjoy yourself.

Tucked within the East Village is a barbershop that is more than the eye can see. Once you walk to the back door you will be greeted, and the door will open to a secret swanky speakeasy. This speakeasy takes its name from the detective novel made in 1934 and the space reflects that with a secretive and exclusive feel.

The music for the night is a lo-fi, melodic trap experience curated by a collective of bass DJs from all around the city. Kicking things off at 6 pm is Heart Beats co-founder Damask, followed by heavy hitter Chung Money and East Village resident Flo-Pilot. McNulty from Brooklyn headlines for an extended 1.5-hour set followed by Hype Man Kev who will hold it down till midnight.

Delicious food is available with impeccable drinks to go with. These are craft cocktails made with artistic flair and top-shelf spirits if you wish. They are very tasty! This is the perfect date location or after-work dinner spot and of course, there will also be plenty of dancing. Why not get a haircut or beard trim while you're at it!

thone: Tuesday 2/22/22 at the Blind Barber from 6pm-12am FREE!
