Alright. There’s no question about it, The Chainsmokers are the fasting rising stars in EDM and pop. It should be blatantly obvious after they skyrocketed successfully to top over the past few months. They’ve toured the world, performed at the biggest festivals and award shows while their music has over a billion hits across various music platforms. At this stage in their career it was a no-brainer to perform at MTV's Video Music Awards, VMAs, last week with Halsey.
Andrew opened up the performance by singing the verse of their song ‘Closer’ and getting intimate with the crowd. Halsey soon joined him on stage and chimed in, drawing an immense reaction from the crowd. Things got really intense when Andrew got 'handsy' with Halsey (pun intended) during the interlude. What a wild night.
