Josh Jacobson Drops 'Tethered' in Anticipation of Upcoming EP

July 8, 2017 -

Self-described 'future soul' singer/songwriter Josh Jacobson has us buzzing with anticipation for his upcoming EP, First Light. Tethered, the first single off the album, is an honest glance into Jacobson's production style. Live trumpet and violin give the artist's soulful vocals a jazzy backing. What results are harmonious melodies and dreamlike vibes.

A successful showing at the Knitting Factory brought the single to our attention, and with good reason; Jacobson performs live music to audiences that nearly outdo studio recordings. With a talented ensemble and deep lyricism, First Light is on our watchlist for Fall 2017. Expect First Light to drop this September with a five track setlist.
