Created by skilled producer Jeremy Levin, Synova is a rising project that continues to impress the experimental bass community. For much of his childhood, Levin played drums in different bands. He even took on music production when he was 12, securing his future as one of EDM's most progressive artists. Synova's outside-the-box approach to sound design is accompanied by strong storytelling. This is evident in Synova's newest album, Bubble Tape.
Proceeding Synova's 2022 LP on san holo's label bitbird, Bubble Tape is an auditory journey that is full of surprises. Each track is mirrored by ethereal visual elements that have the power to captivate its audience. Of the nine songs on the compilation, some feature invigorating heavy bass drops, like "To The Sky". Others embody lush melodies and uplifting future bass, such as "Celcius" and "Denver VIP". Bubble Tape also includes a mesmerizing flip of Cardi B's "WAP".
Discussing the purpose of his project, Levin shares, “Synova is where I feel the most alive. I will never ever stop wanting to discover new music, write it, and perform it. It's been this way since I was born and I'll take it to my grave. Everything in life for me is dealt with by music somehow. I do it because the feeling is unmatched anywhere else. When music is involved, I feel the most myself.” Bubble Tape reflects Levin's passion for music and sneak previews the promising road ahead for Synova.
