Las Vegas based house label Sweet Heat Records is back with a grip of weapons on their latest compilation Shiba Selects Vol. 2.

Roy Havens kicks off the album with ‘Desperado’ a funky fresh track that asks the question “acid or techno?” Pauly Madrid follows it up with a rolling bass Ibiza sounding jam ‘Fly As’. Finally Kaysin‘s track ‘Party City’ hits us with colorful percussion and quirky synthesizers, definitely a big highlight of the compilation.

The Las Vegas tech house champions FlashGang takeover next with their track ‘Match Point’. This one has their signature G-House bassline thrown under the bus with a bunch of vibey percussion and a feature from Gary Bullet. Next up is Stefan Seay‘s ‘Ayer’ that samples the classic OutKast’s ATLiens. This one is definitely say it’s cooler than a poler bear’s toe nails. G Ritmo delivers the dark minimal tech track ‘We Bumpin’ and its equal parts melodic as it is mysterious with its seductive vocal hook.

X&Z throw it down with their track on the compilation ‘Whaaa’. This one has more of a minimal feel than the rest of tracks and it is carried with a strange analog digital techno vibe. Jay Mosley and Pilosa hit us next with ‘PMW’, a zany tech house track that is equal parts dirty as it is catchy with its dropped down vocal hook “Pussy Music Weed Is All A DJ Needs”. Last but not least Teklow comes at us with ‘Essence’, a fat bassline bumping psychedelic tech house banger that is the perfect way to close out this compilation.
