Sweater Beats - "Dark Matter"

October 7, 2014 -

Derek Kademian

Sweater Beats has become a household name recently, after dropping a killer remix of his touring companions Flume and Chet Faker's, "Drop the Game," last month and now he's released his first original track in months, "Dark Matter," which features Canadian producer/singer Allie. "Dark Matter" is classic Sweater Beats, a combination of minimal r&b mixed with future bass with an elegant harp following us throughout the track. It resembles a lot of the remixes he's been showing us recently but in comparison "Dark Matter" is a bit more low key.

This is just one of the four songs that will be featured on his anticipated EP, Cloud City. The New York native is also supporting  Chance the Rapper on his Verge Campus Fall Tour, so see if he's stopping by your neighborhood in coming weeks.

His EP, Cloud City will be available October 28th through HW&W as a free download when you pre-order it on the Sweater Beat's website.
