[INTERVIEW] Sullivan King Shows Lost Lands Festival What He's All About

October 10, 2017 -

Ashlyn Fulton

I keep hearing it: Sullivan King's set was one of the best at Lost Lands Festival. Why? Because it was different. He's different. And not only because he combines metal and EDM; his stage presence is what you secretly wish all artists had. Live mixing b2b shredding guitar b2b screaming into the mic and head banging: this is what his Lost Lands is all about and awe didn't even know it! This was just a taste of Sullivan King, as it was his first festival set - he's clearly just getting started.

Before his first festival set ever, I got the chance to sit down and talk about his refreshing mixture of metal and dubstep, two genres that seem to go hand in hand yet are rarely heard together, why he thinks Lost Lands happened at the perfect time in dance music, and his new EP, House of Wolves.
