With Summer coming to an end we have been on the lookout for that one great party to top it all off. Out of every club night we've seen in SoCal I personally think IHEARTCOMIX is bringing out the best with their lineup this Friday at the Echoplex. Lets see what we got...

STOOKI SOUND

This London based duo has been working their way up the EDM ladder as one of the hyphiest trap acts around. Taking after the sounds of TNGHT and Mr. Carmack, Stooki thrives on minimalist hip-hop centered beats with an extremely fine attention to detail. Their songs are a must for any trap artist and their live performances are a force to be reckoned with. After selling out big clubs worldwide we're surprised and honored to have them at an intimate venue like the Echoplex. This is definitely something you don't see every day.

PROMNITE

Promnite is one of the fastest rising underdogs from some of our favorite Los Angeles based artist collectives. We first caught him at a Team Supreme night where he slaughtered the house with his deep downtempo beats and turnt up jersey-style. Some of our favorite memories with this kid had to have been at Club Rituals, the official parties from Athletixx. The crew consists of Promnite, Hoodboi, Falcons, and Kittens, a solid lineup of individually creative artists. The way I see it we're gonna be getting a taste of this with his performance on Friday and I really couldn't ask for more.

ASTRONOMAR

Those first two bookings would have been enough to get me to come to the show but this one is like the cherry on top of it all.. You might have heard of Astronomar from his record label Main Course, which he owns with former Crookers member Bot. This Summer has involved myself obsessively aweing over their releases of dirty minimal house music, and when I say dirty I mean experimental, melting, freakish beats that sound like if you stuffed a Dirty Bird into Hunter S. Thompson's trunk. Astronomar is the puppet master who is currently pushing new boundaries in electronic music and I'm extremely curious to hear what he has planned in a live club setting.

Venessa has lately been one of our favorites in the futuristic electronic category. She blends the styles of soul and RnB with deep house and future bass making something extremely vivid and suitable for any occasion. Whether you're lounging with a cocktail or getting loose at a club, her tunes will fill you with the dreamiest emotions. We've yet to catch a performance by Venessa so we're stoked that she'll be rocking out out with all these artists tonight. Here's a good reason to get there early!
