The knobs have been turned. The frequencies have been tweaked. The bass has been turned to eleven. Octopus Recordings head honcho, Sian, has revealed that his next full studio album will be released on April 10th.

Transcending boundaries and genres, ‘Capital Crimewave’ features a hefty total of 20 original choons that hit you square in the jaw with raw warehouse techno, spacey hip hop, and dubbed-out electronica. Sian has enlisted LA based rappers, AG Fernandez and CL, on more than a few tracks and navigates through a variety of BPMs. While admittedly some of it is a little out there, it adds to album’s experimental charm which walks past tested formulas and takes a peek into unchartered territories. Fans can expect to hear tracks off ‘Capital Crimewave’ and more live as Sian has just kicked off his eponymous world tour.

For those of you who can't wait, Octopus Recordings released a teaser EP yesterday featuring ‘Camouflage’, ‘Question Gravity’, and ‘Stuxnet’. Listen below.
