Within the first day of Sebastian Park's latest EP, 'Groove Gang', he saw it climb to number 12 on the Top 100 House chart. Now sitting at number 5, the 22 year old producer from New York definitely has an ear for thumping deep house and is starting to get recognized. He's garnered support from the likes of Tiesto and Oliver Heldens in the past year and now with his Ensis records debut, Sebastian Park could be seeing the limelight in no time at all this year. The EP is deep and distinct. The title track even has a flash of brief Trance-like attributes, especially at 1:50. Downright groovy, Sebastian is able to input different influences and styles into his productions and the result is a fine piece of art. "House of Dreams" hits hard and the hi-hats are some of the cleanest I've heard in quite sometime. When it drops it drops with attitude and punch. This track is more House(y) and yet contains a big sound. Overall the EP is just what the doctor ordered and I'm sure we'll be seeing more of Mr. Park very soon.
