Seattle Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch Agrees to Skittles Deal

With the Super Bowl upon us in just four plus days, the Seattle Seahawks' antics have just gotten that much sweeter. The popular candy brand announced on Tuesday that a formal deal with the Seahawks running back is in place that would compensate the "beast mode" football player. As a means of celebration, the Seahawks has made a limited edition package of a "Seattle Mix," a bag the brand will hand out this week that includes only candies of blue and green colors. The team's Skittles love began when Lynch's mother gave him Skittles while playing Pop Warner football. Not only does the delicious candy mean so much to Lynch, but the Seahawks players began giving Lynch "rainbow showers" whenever he scores a touchdown. Skittles doesn't have an official deal with the NFL, but the deal with Lynch could spark something in the future.
