Last Friday evening, the Safe In Sound Festival tour made its 19th pit-stop at District 3 Arts & Events Venue in Tampa, Florida. They have teamed up with Rockstar Energy Drink and PK Sound (among many other sponsors) to bring every city a high-quality experience unlike any other.

Tampa's visit consisted of bass virtuoso's Zomboy, Datsik, Ookay and Terravita. Although it was quite possibly one of the hottest venues I've ever been in, the entire show was still amazing and I'll definitely be back next year. District 3 consists of a small outdoor terrace, a medium-sized side room and a huge main room where the majority of attendees were. It was seriously the sweatiest show I've been to in a while, but that didn't stop everyone from having a great time.

terr

All four performances had the crowd moving from start to finish. After the openers warmed things up, Terravita took over with one of the hardest sets of the night. The guys ripped District3 apart with their lacerating bass and high volume levels.

ookay

After Terravita got the momentum going, Ookay jumped on stage to help turn things up a notch. Ookay is notorious for a trap n' bass-filled set with occasional throwback tracks like "I Will Always Love You" thrown in near the end. Needless to say, Ookay never ceases to make the crowd laugh and wanna turn the f*ck up at the same time.

datsik

Datsik was one of the most exciting and energy-filled sets of the night. Per usual he tore the place apart. Attendees were completely in awe of every track he added to his performance. If you've ever seen Datsik perform in the past you know exactly how wild of a night it's about to be.

zomboy

The anticipation for Zomboy was absolutely insane. After over three hours of headliners, it was time for the last act to conclude the show. The Cornwall-native bass modulator destroyed the decks instantaneously. The roaring crowd could be heard from down the street! Zomboy provided an incredible end to the evening and I'm sure that Tampa wouldn't have had it any other way. (Oh & 12th Planet made a surprise appearance!)
